Sunday
On Sunday I relaxed with my family and read some of my books for my reading log.I also was learning some of my time tables to good at saying them and knowing them off by heart.
Saturday
On Saturday I went out with my mum sister and brother to a show called The Emperor New Clothes.It was happening at the ground show in Green Lane.It was packed so we decide to pay for parking as it was getting full we saw a nearer parking and i was happy so we don't all the way.
Next we were at the door waiting to pay the ticket when we had paid the ticket she gave us a program to follow and if we want to get there autographs.We did not know were to sit because there were tall people right in front of us every were we go.But we found a grate spot were the little kids were I was excited to watch.When the lights went low a beautiful girl came out with a big dress that had lot's of pattens on it.Then a king came out with a big out fit so then I knew it will cool.
As the show was going on there was alot of baby's crying loud while the show was happening.I quite did not hear what they were saying.But I had so much fun spending time with my siblings because they make me laugh all the time.Also my mum she is awesome.

Technology
Today is Friday we always have Technology at Tamaki Collage the year 8's are in cooking class and that's were i am.Cooking is fun it's all about focusing on it so it doesn't burn or it might be still not ready so it is important to stay and look after your cooking.Today we are making...Fish pies it was yummy the ingredient we put in was Butter,Fish,Flour,Bread Crumbs and also Onions that makes you cry.
It is fun when you are cooking with a friend because they are there to help with what you need help with.

Home Learning
After school I got home and did some reading online and doing maths online.I am also trying to solve a math question that we got from school.The book i read was what is a Volcano?It was very interesting because what i learnt from it is that the pressure from the volcano builds up underground until Rocks,Steam and gases are forced out in an eruption.That is so AMAZING i wonder what it will be like if you go close to a volcano well it's erupting.And from math i did some word problems it had subtraction division and also fractions.It;s fun learning at home because it can still help you with the work you need a school.
Presenting Our Work
Today the 2 of July we did our presentations in our big school hall.When I walked into the hall I was amazed of all the class presentation.The other presentations were very cool and made me excited to learn more.But at the same time I was nervous about presenting my own presentation.
My presentation had something to do with science and my mum came along to help which was pretty cool.I first put the glue in and then add the water to it and gave it a good stir.When that was combine together I then added the liquid It was made by my mum it had Starch and water then you boil it till it gets thick.So I poured in the liquid and mixed it in with Borax it was a type of powder.When it was all together I could feel that it was getting more gooey to it.
But it was still runny my mum Ruth we home to make it another way with starch and it was perfect.When she came back it was slime I could not believe it so we added that to our what ever it was slimy watery bowl and mixed it together and all the slime she made was working it actually made slime.
I was happy and everyone was just coming to have a look and also touch but they weren't aloud because the borax it might react to there skin.Then it was the next class they we saying "EWW" what is that so I said it is slime they were so excited to see something new for a change and they also wanted to take some with them.
Then it was coming to a end were all class went back up to there class rooms and blog what they have learnt from there.It was a fun day for me and my friends that were helping Fine and Dallas.

Today's A Busy Day
Today in the morning we had Maths we were working with Mrs Tofa while the others are working with Mrs Raj.When we had finished our Maths we moved on to finishing off our inquiry. I'm in groups with Fine,Dallas and then me we are working on science we picked science because we wanted to try something new for a change.Our science experiment is SLIME it's going to be fun I can't wait to present.

A truck is on a delivery run with a total weight of 60 tonnes. It drops off 1/10 of its weight at Town A, ⅕ of its weight at Town B, ⅓ of its weight at Town C and the rest of the weight at Town D.
I found this difficult because is was with fraction and we were solving it by Dividing it and subtracting.
