Powhiri

On Thursday the 7th of August 2014.

It was a Cold,Windy morning the dark clouds flowing by it was a happy powhiri day.

As Hannah finished doing a samoan dance we had Room 10 ,9 boys doing the stick dance for the audience.

Then when Nick Smith , Len Brown and housing New Zealand people came our Room 10 , 9, Girls and boys did a haka to welcome them here at GlenBrae School.

When they were welcome in we sang a song for them and then we had a man come up and say something about the our school and the early childhood center.

Then we went out and did the sod turning for the childhood center and when it is built we will return the its grass to it place.

Excellent Erina, you have clearly identified all the main events of the day. Could you please re-read it and edit once more, there are a couple of sentences which don't quite make sense. "Then we went out and did the sod turning for the childhood center and when it is built we will return the its grass to it place."
Maybe you could also add what you enjoyed about the morning. I also like how you have remembered the names of the important visitors we had.
